Jason’s Tale

 

Jason Lee Scott started out as the very first leader of the power rangers.  When Zordon first offered the teens a chance to become power rangers, Jason was the only one who actually thought about accepting it.  After being attacked by putties, the rangers used their powers for the first time, and Jason took on the role of being the red ranger leader of the power rangers.  Jason controlled the Tyrannosaurus Rex Dinozord.  Over time, Tommy joined the team and had a bitter rivalry with Jason, but the two of them worked it out and eventually became partners.  When the second season began, Jason had an upgrade of his Tyrannosaurus zord, from T-Rex to the mighty Red DragonThunder Zord.  In the middle of the second season, Jason, Zack, and Trini were selected to be in the peace conference in Switzerland and gave their powers to the new teen ninjas from Stone Canyon.  In the fourth season, ZEO, when Prince Trey of Triforia, the Gold Ranger, crash landed on Earth and needed time to put himself back together from three pieces to one, he needed to transfer the gold powers to a human for a period of time.  Tommy immediately had the perfect candidate in mind…Jason.  Jason returned to become the new Gold Ranger and to fight side by side with the ZEO Rangers.  With the help of his gold zord, Pyramidas, he was a great asset to the team once again.  But after time went on, Jason’s body had an unfortunate effect towards the powers, and the gold powers were transferred back to Trey.  Jason left the team again, but he returned to the show for a brief time in Turbo, the movie that began season five.  He and Kimberly were chosen as sacrifices by Divatox for Malagore.  Jason and Kimberly were tossed into the pit of fire, and Malagore fed on their purity, turning them evil.  Jason was then reminded of all the good he had done by Tommy, and Lerigot helped to restore him and Kim to their natural states.  After that, Jason never came back to the show.  Although he is gone, he will always be remembered as the first leader of the mighty morphin power rangers.  But is he really gone?  If so, then how does he return to the rangers in FOREVER RED once more, to become the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger and help his friends as only Jason could?
